DESCRIPTION

Rooted in American workwear, the Big Yank 2-Pocket Asymmetrical Work Shirt revives a 1930s archival style with exacting detail. Made from twisted cotton jaspe yarns milled in Japan, the shirt is cut with Big Yank’s signature asymmetrical chest pockets—a soft-pack cigarette pocket with a branded metal button and a tunneled pen slot pocket—paired with a vintage curved collar and patented barrel cuffs. Triple-needle stitching, chainstitch bobbin construction, felled seams, and bartack reinforcements deliver lasting durability. Finished with an enzyme stone wash for a broken-in feel. Made in Japan.

Fabric

Japan-milled cotton jaspe. This fabric uses twisted cotton yarns in the warp and weft to create a distinct salt-and-pepper texture. It’s enzyme stone-washed for a soft, broken-in hand and weighs in at a midweight 210 GSM.
